    I have been collecting rent from my tenant for 16 years. When my tenant left I saw an opportunity to create something that will increase my income by only making minor alteration to the office. The costs and time of making this alteration is minimal. The construction work is just adding a small partition wall and door, separating the office into 2 sections. Therefore, I could rent the same office space to 2 tenants, thus doubling my rental income.

    The works took around 2 weeks and most of it is just repainting the walls and doors. The original interior design was created by me about 20 years ago when I was using this office as my own architectural office then. I have moved and this office is now generating passive income for me. I get the satisfaction of providing my tenants a good place for them for their businesses. The rental is reasonably priced so my tenants get a good value for what they are paying. I enjoy using my skill and creativity in creating useful space to other people to use. It is this type of productive work that I like.
