How I Transform A Lamborghini Diablo Into A Super Car. Car Design And Transformation. Before & After

 
    This is a 1992 Lamborghini Diablo V12 with 5,800 Horsepower. The transformation took 16 months. The entire engine was removed and sent to Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur for a complete over haul. The original body of this Lamborghini remained intact. The shape transformation was made almost entirely out of fiber glass materials that were fashioned from scratch. The hardest part of the design was to keep the look and signature of Lamborghini i.e. that is it will still look like a Lamborghini from afar.

    The works were painstakingly laborious and slow. Every details of the car is well thought out, then a cardboard cut-out of the parts were made and put on the car for me to have a feel of how the parts would fit in and whether the alteration look right. Since, no one has done this before; it was mostly a trial and error approach for me as the designer.

    I incorporated elements of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento and Lamborghini Aventador, and Lamborghini Reventon in to my design. The paint is Lamborghini Aventador Arancia Orange and the Reventon Grey made by Glasurit. The basic architecture of the car remains the same. The changes are all in the exterior body works.
